it simple you have abs, there is no question there, but you have fat covering them, so you need to run and do cardio work outs to burn that fat that is covering then. Doing abs make them more visible because it makes them bigger, but remeber your body starts burning body fat only 40 min after engaging into exercise

Getting tighter abs if you're overweight is a bit difficult. So what you need to to first is to loosen up some weight and do some basic exercises, when you can see and feel that you're losing weight. That is the right time to do some belly flattening exercises.

Crunches may be part of your routine but make sure that you do sometime of hanging exercise that you bring you knees or legs up (roman chair). Make sure that you do something with a twist (wood chops, Russian twist). Make sure that you do some stabilization exercise (plank). Finally make sure that you strengthen you lower back (supermans, hyper-extensions). Your want to make sure that you are strengthening your entire core. Crunches are great, but it is the other exercises that are going to give you tight abs.

I prefer Aerobics as an exercise which helps to reduce the weight. It is the comfortable to you instead the heavy weight. Also you can enjoy and motivate to do an exercise regularly.

Hello Angel,

I also have the same problem. Well, I'm not overweight but I kinda have flabby tummy. And I wish to have those power abs of what I see on the television.

Well, as I worked out in the gym, I learned that you definitely need to lose weight first. Do a lot of cardio. Once your done, then you can move on into focusing on those abdominal muscles.

I'm interested in ab building exercises too, I've been struggling to build a six pack for a while.
